  • Online RN to BSN Story: Kendyl Davidson

    Thursday, April 13, 2017

As the sun sets, Kendyl Davidson heads into work. This emergency room nurse takes the night shift, not because she’s nocturnal, but because she spends her days chasing a goal: her BS in Nursing.

Kendyl is an online RN-to-BSN student who knows how to juggle a busy schedule. After all, it’s hard to overwhelm an emergency room nurse. Just how does she stay motivated throughout her studying and nursing shifts? By focusing on her dream of continuing on to earn her MS in Nursing, and eventually, becoming a nursing school instructor herself.

Her hard work is paying off, and her supervisors at Beebe Healthcare are taking notice. One noted that, since beginning her classes, Kendyl has displayed matured nursing leadership qualities and has gotten more involved in the department—a development her supervisor credits to her Drexel education. Looks like Kendyl’s becoming quite the formidable Dragon in her department.
