The Power Systems Engineering certificate equips students to tackle real-world challenges in power systems. Graduates will be able to contribute to technical projects involving electrification, decarbonization, and aging equipment retirement expansion.
This program will prepare students to be equipped with the technical knowledge and to meet the needs of utility corporations.
The program requires 24 graduate credits and is delivered online over approximately two years. It consists of core courses such as:
Elective courses include:
State restrictions may apply to some programs.
This program is organized into four 10-week quarters per year (as opposed to the traditional two semester system) which means you can take more courses in a shorter time period. One semester credit is equivalent to 1.5 quarter credits.
