Upon completing Drexel’s online data science systems certificate, you will be able to:
- Analyze a problem and identify and define the data analysis, computing and result presentation requirements to its solution
- Apply mathematical foundations, algorithmic principles, and computer science fundamentals in the modeling and design of data analysis systems
- Design, implement, and evaluate a computer-based data analysis system process, component, or program to meet desired needs
- Function effectively on a team to design and implement a computer-based data analysis system
- Understand the implementation and use of existing data science tools and systems

This program is organized into four 10-week quarters per year (as opposed to the traditional two semester system) which means you can take more courses in a shorter time period. One semester credit is equivalent to 1.5 quarter credits.

Admissions Criteria
- A four-year bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Math (plus programming) from a regionally accredited institution in the United States or an equivalent international institution
- 3.0 GPA preferred in a prior completed degree, bachelors or above

Tuition
The tuition rate for the academic year 2022-2023 is $1396 per credit.
