How to Earn a Bachelor’s Degree Online

Whether you're focusing on your first degree or looking to change fields, Drexel’s online bachelor’s degrees are designed to set you up for success in your career. You’ll learn from Drexel’s respected faculty and be able to complete your classwork on your own schedule. And, with the option to transfer up to 120 quarter credits (equivalent to 80 semester credits), you can finish your degree sooner.

Can I Earn a Master’s Degree Online?

Drexel offers a number of online master’s degrees in subjects ranging from entrepreneurship to nursing to education. Most can be completed in as little as two years, and either all or the majority of each program’s coursework can be completed entirely online. The online format allows you to pursue your degree on your own schedule, while still gaining access to all of Drexel’s resources and networking opportunities.

What is an Online Graduate Certificate?

An online graduate certificate is a great alternative to a full degree program for those who don’t have time to commit to a full degree, are seeking specialized knowledge and training within their field, or are thinking about switching career focus. These certificates can be completed in as little as one to three terms, and some can be applied toward future graduate degrees.

Can I Earn a Doctorate Degree Online?

Drexel University currently offers the following online doctoral degrees: an EdD in Educational Leadership and Management, a Doctor of Health Science (DHSc), and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). While some programs have in-person requirements, most of the coursework is completed online. You’ll be able to interact with your classmates, professors, and thesis advisers remotely, and will receive the same attention and support as you would on-campus.

How Quickly Can You Earn a Degree?

The time it will take to complete your degree varies depending on your program, how many credits you transfer in, your course load, and whether you're going to school full- or part-time. Some certificates can be finished in as little as one to three terms, while other degrees can be completed in just two years. Whether you earn your degree online or in-person, you’re still a Drexel University student. Your degree will state that you graduated from Drexel University, with no mention of whether you completed your coursework online or on campus. As a Drexel graduate, you’ll also have access to Drexel’s alumni network.
